Haunted Trolley Tours
Haunted trolley tours include a three-hour jaunt to some of Alton’s most sinister haunts…
- First stop is the Stratford Hotel!! This once majestic hotel, built in 1909, has set vacant for many years. We'll visit the Hemingwayesque Hilltop Room in search of lingering spirits.
- We'll also return to the very eerie Milton School!! The scene of a tragic murder, this site begs the question - can a haunted location be too scary? (Due to the annual Halloween party, the Milton School is not available on Nov. 1. We will substitute with an extended visit to the Alton City Cemetery.)
- As always, our last stop will be the enigmatic McPike Mansion. Sitting vacant, aside from its ghostly inhabitants, this historic dwelling is the epitome of a haunted house. Join in a dark room session in the vaulted wine cellar – where many elemental spirits reside.

You must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
Ghost hunters are encouraged to bring cameras and ghost hunting equipment.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
